The Scoop on Delaware
By Alisa O’Neill

MADD is continuing to make a comeback into the First State!
The MADD Mid-Atlantic Region Victim Services Team had the opportunity to speak with police chiefs all over Delaware, from Wilmington Police Department to Selbyville Police Department. Due to the new variant, the presentation was done via Zoom in January.
All the attendees were very receptive to the re-surface of MADD’s presence in Delaware as well as partnering with MADD in the future. We shared the services that the Mid-Atlantic Region can provide to victims, and the MADD initiatives, such as checkpoints and Saturation Saturday.
The chiefs also viewed the NHTSA Roll Call video to illustrate how we can be of service to law enforcement. We hope to see our fellow Delaware officers at the upcoming Delaware Walk in May.
